After bringing in potted yelliw blooming milkweed from the freezing nights, I discovered, in the end, 8 monarch caterpillars on the plants. I moved the pot into the aquarium and added milkweed cuttings as needed from another pot brought in. Strangely, no caterpillars were on that larger plant. I plan on driving the chrysalis south about 4 hours for warmer weather for the monarchs to have a better chance of survival.
