Sightings report image

Date: 12/21/2020

Number: 1

we frequently see these eagles on this favorite perch - a dead branch on a big old black cottonwood - on the west shore of the Kennebec River. today the smaller eagle, probably the male, repeated a musical mewl call that we have not heard before. the pair is probably bonding even now in December 2020 for the 2021 breeding season.
