My son heard a Robin song around 10am, so we took a walk to investigate. We saw Robins on the ground in a cattle pasture and in a hay field, some more in fence row trees and more in flight. We counted 109 in all, but surely missed some. What a great morning! We returned to the same location around noon and there were none in sight - perhaps because a Northern Harrier was gliding over the fields searching for lunch.
