The photo is of a buff-bellied hummingbird at our house. It has been here since 20 November 2020. It spends most of its time in the backyard. It rarely perches in the open, but today it spent a lot of time perching in the open. It is the only hummingbird observed in our yard today. We have had a female ruby-throated hummingbird until a couple of days ago (and it may return), and a calliope off and on since late November.
