The photo is of the back of a buff-bellied hummingbird at our house (for a photo of the front, see my report of 9 January 2021). It has been here since 20 November 2020. It spends most of its time in the backyard. We have had a female ruby-throated hummingbird daily until a few days ago (and it may return), and a calliope (see my other report of today) off and on since late November.
