Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 01/24/2021

Number: 1

Last Spring and Summer I was thankfully blessed with 2 "Special Robin Friends"..... These 2 Robins are so different from all of the Robins I've sighted in my lifetime.. They are extremely friendly/curious/ and even seemingly concerned of and about me. They don't act like a Wildlife Bird one could expect... They come ever so close to me and gang about the yard and rooftops of my home. As if they gave been sent me with some purpose or message.
?????????...... When Fall approached I bid a farewell to my "Robin Friends"and Wished them well on their journey south that was fast approaching, saying to them: "You'd better going my feathered friends WINTER is on its way.... Hoping and Praying that I would see them return in Spring- Together....
On 01/01/21 I happened to look out at Bird feeders, Squirrel feeders after filling them with treats for my wildlife friend. I have a Heated water containment outside for "any" furry or feathered friend to have during the bitter WINTER COLD here in Northern Mid Wisconsin...I AM ONLY A FEW HOURS FROM THE CANADIAN BORDER..
Low and behold I sighted one of my Robin friends--- Here apparently she/he "did not" fly South with the flock--- My "Robin Friend" was on the edge of my water bowl just drinking up a storm... I know may sound "silly" but these guys have become my Best of Friends, I Love them and am very worried fir them way up here in this Tundra land without food. However; Blessings as this "worry" is what brought me to your very page and the ability to make reporting of this Strange but Very Welcomed happening.... After reading articles I am a bit more settled and less worried too---
I was beside myself with worry thinking that these Robins that have made claim to myself and this little home I have as "Theirs" too, thinking they would surely perish due to the weather conditions this time of year.. I am now in and have an understanding that YES--- My Robins won't unnecessarily Die due to Tempuratures, No Nest, No Food..
I pray THEY are OK!!.... I Love this pair so much-- they act as if they are mine--- Though I tell them they are Not-- I tell them I will care for you as best I can.....
If there are any key-points as to further care for these Robins Please do share with me and provide to me this and any other information that can be of relevance to the care and keep of these 2 who refuse to leave my side and to leave out of my sight..
Thank You-- Best of Wishes to All--
