Oriole (1st Baltimore)
Sightings report image

Date: 01/26/2021

Number: 1

We have 4 Baltimore Orioles that never migrated. They are eating re-hydrated freeze dried meal worms, Lyric Fine Tunes No Waste mix for small beaks, and small bits of suet. They occasionally dine on grape jelly and grapes, but prefer the protein now. We've had temperatures into the teens and 1 Nor'easter so far, but they are still here.

(Editor's Note: These birds never left CT so they aren't considered the "first seen", but we will leave them in this category because it is currently the best fit.)
