We saw a small flock of a lot of birds on the ground rooting through fall leaves. We thought it was odd and grabbed a pair of binoculars to confirm. Then we started to see more and more land on the ground and the surrounding oak trees. Then we just watched as in small groups of 3-6 birds kept flying in the same direction. There must have easily been between 50-100. I've never seen them here this early in that large of a number.
