This broadbilled hummingbird has been guarding 'her" feeder all winter. We went to the garden center and got a couple of salvia plants. A verdin came into the feeder and forced her to the salvia, much to my benefit.

This morning we saw 2 female broadbills, one male, 2 other females and an Anna's
