On this glorious day with unlimited visibility and no wind, we spotted 19 southbound grays consisting
of 7 traveling singularly and six traveling as a pair.
In addition, we observed one
non-migrating whale swimming in and around the kelp close to shore. Earlier in the day while on the beach at Gualala Point Regional Park, we saw one non-migrating gray whale swimming north.
