From a friend:
Thought you might enjoy these pics. I had an extraordinary morning. A flock of Robins landed in my yard. There were easily 3 or 4 dozen birds. They came for the water in my little heated bird bath. Amazing!. They were everywhere; on the roof, the fence, the shrubs, every piece of leftover plants, taking turns in that tiny source of water. At times, there were 6 or 7 in the bird bath at one time.

They stayed about a half hour, then moved on. That little bird bath has gotten regular usage, but nothing like this. It was a real treat to watch the activity. When I bought it, I wondered if it was worth the effort. Im convinced, that little bird bath is probably the best $75 Ive spent in years. It isnt exactly a work of art, but the birds love it.
