Rufous now daily out side 11.a.m feels like 28.
His Desert rose is blooming inside 67 degrees in pic.

First thing every morning I have to refil with warm sugar water disk feeder. Hung in still blooming yellow Sophra where he sits on twig below for 45 minutes. Goes to and from feeder.

Rufous went to Cuphea,salvia 'Loves and Wishes, Deep purple Skyscraper' at 9 a.m. with 35 degrees, feels like 26.. only potted plants we are able to keep outdide in 2 day continuous rain so far. Other 4 purple tender potted salvias are not hardened stems yet for cold. Brought them inside sitting in den.

Now in bubble wrap mode for 2 feeders with Christmas lights. Waiting to cover plastic over feeders that are hung in yellow Sophra bushes, and cover blooming coral honeysuckle when rain stops. Low 17 predicted Monday 2/15/2021.

Hope we can save inground blooming 'Black and blue salvia,' Aimstead salvia. By covering them also, in winter mix predicted.
