A week ago, I saw 3 robins in my yard and was glad. However, we've had 2 massive snow/ice storms this week and I've been iced into my house. yesterday I was looking out the kitchen window at breakfast time and the giant, ivy covered hackberry tree in my year EXPLODED with birds coming out of the leaves! It was covered in Robins! There had to be 300 of them! They twittered around a bit; then, as if on signal, all took off in many directions. Later in the morning, I heard their twittering and saw them all come back at the same time and snuggle into the ivy leaves again. Today they are gone.
