Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 02/15/2021

Number: 200

I have a mockingbird that lives in my trees year round. He tried to run off the robins for about 15-20 min, but became tired and overwhelm as more & more robins arrived. The robins never became aggressive towards the mockingbird, they just began swarming my berry trees & bushes. They stayed until dark and we're gone in a flash.
The next day this flock of robins showed up at my other property. They ate then buried up in the fallen leaves deep inside the bushes, the bad weather had arrived by then, they were forced to bunker down.
I have NEVER seen male robins in large groups of any amount.
Oklahoma just had an unusual cold spell- temps of -25 wind-chills.
