Red-winged Blackbird (FIRST sighted)

Date: 02/22/2021

Number: 1

After a snow of 13inches and arctic temps in single digits with real feel -15,a flock of 40 or more Red Winged Blackbirds arrived at my feeders with a vengeance. Very unusual- as its usually middle to late March when only males arrive. But this flock had male&female. They fed until temps got into the teens&the snow began to melt(at least 6 days they fed here)
