I saw the first Monarch butterfly of the year last week - it was quite small (I only saw one). I also saw 6 Monarch caterpillars on a milkweed plant and quickly went out to buy 4 more plants for the cats to have more to eat. They looked quite large and healthy. Here's a photo of one that I took that day and it looks like he is smiling! Oh, happy day...
