Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/07/2021

Number: 1

11:10 am Altus and I observed a monarch flying low on a dedicated south to north path (at about 4 feet) right in front of our parked car and
then across the Church lawn.

All I could tell was that it was a "dark" monarch ... most probably up from Mexico but not a very faded individual.

Bluebonnets have buds and are about to bloom. Plants thought
dead are now showing green in the stems.
