our image for MAR 2021. 7 MAR 2021 we watched a pair of eagles cavorting in the sky about a mile north of this large black cottonwood where eagles frequently perch. the pair yesterday made contact while flying, but did not lock talons and tumble as sometimes occurs during the pair bonding process. these eagles today are together for the first time in several days. we imagine that the female may already have eggs in a nest rebuilt for the 2021 season. we have not located the nest although we have some candidate white pines in the neighborhood.
