Mrs. James' second grade class and Mrs. Webster's first grade class report that our tulips have emerged!

First grade report that 9 tulips have emerged, with many more expected in the coming days. The tallest tulip is 5 cm tall. It is a warm and windy day here.

Second grade class reports that one of the six bulbs planted in their experiment have emerged. They asked the question, "What would happen if we planted our tulip bulbs 7 inches from the building?" So far changing this variable has not had a good outcome with only one bulb growing. Since not all the first grade plants have emerged, perhaps more of these will emerge too!
