One adult female observed laying eggs and feeding on the non-native milkweed flowers. At one point, a second adult swooped in, appeared to chase off the first briefly. Also observed were several large wasps, at one point chasing the female butterfly and lingering on milkweed. However, the butterfly has been around the better part of the day.
