Saw this female today laying eggs on my milkweed that I was able to keep alive through the snow storm last month here in Austin. My plants are in sad shape with aphids. I sent off for 300 ladybugs last week and they have been feasting. As far as I know, I am the only one in the neighborhood to have this many adult plants after the big freeze (about 30). I have about 200 seedlings, but they will be of no help for this spring season.
