I waited an hour or so after sighting my first female laying eggs on my store-bought milkweed to let the eggs dry and to see how many.

While I was checking, another female (a bit darker than the first) came by and started laying eggs, too.

I counted about 20 eggs altogether on my two decent-sized plants. Even so, I may need more milkweed for these first two litters...
