A male and a female monarch were nectaring on my apricot tree and flying around each other often. I have placed my winter grown milkweed seedlings nearby in the grass and am enjoying the butterfly's visit! It is 75� right now, about 6:30 pm. I have been observing them since 5 pm. So exciting!! Unfortunately, a blizzard is forecast 76 miles due north tonight and tomorrow. We may only get rain here in Plainview, so they should be fine.
