I saw 20+ eggs on milkweeds today. Most of them were newly laid by the female monarchs finding the tender young sprouts today. The majority of the eggs were laid singly on each milkweed, though a few plants had two or more. I only had a chance to check back on some of the milkweed sprouts I saw monarchs laying eggs on, so just a small survey.
