Egg from earlier submission. Difficult to take with an iPhone but it is a single white egg on the underside of an A. Asperula milkweed. There are about 5 Asperulas coming up after the freeze so nutrition should not be a problem. The monarch was not brightly colored but appeared dusty or washed out.
