It was about 8:30 this morning, sunny and with a temp of about 45--definitely spring-like weather. I was out walking around the still-sleeping garden when I heard the unmistakable robin chortle coming from the spruces on the west side. I looked just as the robin flew down the hill, but had a clear view of it. It called again from the woods but I did not hear any answer.
