Temperature 72 partly cloudy skies wind from the north at 18 mph. Single medium size monarch flying low to ground briefly touching on milkweed and other plants, but not settling.

Happy to report my A. Asperula are setting buds and I may see blooms in a week or so. A. Currasavicas aren’t close to sending up stalks and buds. Several native wildflowers are now blooming, so we are recovering nectar sources.
