One monarch flying and landing on my purple milkweed plants.
Looked like it was laying eggs, but I cannot confirm that.
Time will tell.
This is the third monarch that has passed through the first was
two weeks ago 3/15/2021.

Is it possible that the monarchs we are seeing now are some of same ones that we saw migrating down to Mexico last fall? We had a stream of monarchs in our garden for about two weeks. The numbers varied from between 10 to about 40 at peak during that time period.
