Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 03/27/2021

Number: 1

I garden tropical milkweed. On this morning, I was checking the plants. Suddenly a very big, brightly colored, female flew to a plant. She then started laying eggs on various milkweed plants near me. She was busy about 30 minutes, visiting a dozen plants.

I checked for eggs after she left and found about 10 single white eggs across the plants.

She came again( looked identical) on 3/28/2021 in the morning and repeated her process. I could see her bending up the part she uses to deposit the eggs each time she was still for a few seconds near the flower buds on the plants.

I saw the same MBF again this morning,03/29/2021 same process.
