Hummingbird (OTHER Observations)
Sightings report image

Date: 03/15/2021

Number: 1

We have a Ruby-Throated Hummingbird who has made a nest in a wrought-iron/ heart shaped wind chime. Her selection was perfect because there is very little movement in the wind chime and she is protected by an overhang of a sunroom. Her nest is never in direct sunlight and she is protected from wind. She has water, and nectar close by to her nest. It has been wonderful watching her build and put the final touches to her nest on 3/15/21. Now, 3/30/21, we watch our Little Hummer become a bit more active around her nest.
