A monarch floated into the back yard around 10:30am and rested in the sun on a dwarf yaupon holly bush for awhile. It was probably a female, but the wings were not quite fully opened, so could not be certain. Wings were not fresh, but not super-faded either. After resting awhile, it flew away.
