Black snake in thumbergia bush. Another one not pictured was in ground below same bush. They were hunting a male painted bunting but he flew away.
On March 28th 11:29AM I observed a female bunting in same thumbergia Bush. Some of the thumbergia seed pods are popping open and there may be seeds in the ground. This thumbergia bush is also very close to a porterweed plant and the buntings have been observed many times eating porterweed seeds.
