This evening and tonight I've had a chorus of peepers - wood frogs. While I'm happy to hear them, it is unnaturally early. Twenty years ago, we had vestiges of snow here and there in May. I reported my first the other day. I was hoping it was an anomaly given the date. The Atlantic must have stayed very warm this winter.
