Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/25/2021

Number: 1

I observed the first Monarch of the season this afternoon. It was a female with very faded wings flying close to the ground, probably searching for milkweed. Later in the afternoon, I observed another Monarch flying (SW to NE) through the yard on gusty SW winds. Skies were partly cloudy.
