Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 04/07/2021

Number: 15

My A. Asperula are covered with monarch caterpillars. There are 4 in the attached photo. Other plants have 7 eating the leaves. It is striking that tropical milkweed within 4 feet of the A. Asperula have no caterpillars and no eggs. Another reason, perhaps, to avoid tropical Curassavica in the garden.
