5:45 pm ... Just saw a beautiful female nectaring on native verbena, right by our mailbox. Wings were not badly tattered, but pretty dulled in color. She has weathered months of LIVING!!
My TREAT for the day, but I couldn’t get my new phone cam focused on her to capture to share.
May she leave many eggs on our native antelope horn milkweeds!
