Female grosbeak on the suet cakes east of our home, approx 1 pm.

This arrival / sighting is early. In the 28 years, that we’ve been here, our Grosbeak males arrive before the females.

Traditionally, our
‘Grosbeak boys’ arrive after the hummingbirds.

Our hummingbirds usually arrive, May 8th.
