At about 5:45pm I took a video of this adult Monarch. I had to screen capture this image from the video because the butterfly never got close enough, or stopped on a plant, so that I could take a decent photo. This morning I observed another one in this same area ovipositing on Asclepias asperula plants but I was unable to get a photo at that time.
