Two male Ruby-throated Hummers at first light at my front feeders. I have 14 feeders in the front of the house and 5 in the back. Live on a mountain, usually have a pretty good size crowd by late spring. Much bigger crowd in the migration,
feeding since 1989. These 2 arrive on schedule. Always plus or minus one day before or after the 15th. One time since 1989 had a Hummer arrive earlier than those dates. And he was just passing thru. stayed a couple of hours, move on.
