Tulips EMERGED
Sightings report image

Date: 04/18/2021

Number: 4

We finally have 4 tulips poking through after planting 2 dozen bulbs. We had a mild and dry fall. Winter was mild until early February when we had 3 weeks of very cold temperatures. March was mild again, but very little moisture. It was one of the driest winters on record in Alberta. Temperatures are still going below freezing overnight so it has taken the frost a long time to come out of the ground.
