Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 04/09/2021

Number: 5

This is a photo of a 5th instar monarch larva nibbling on a milkweed leaf. I found 5 5th instars. It is quite possible that they were this stage on earlier days, but I have not had much chance to take close looks in the last few days. I also found all the different stages of instars on milkweed, including some newly born today. I continue to see eggs on milkweed and monarchs laying eggs.
