Barn Swallow (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/26/2021

Number: 3

I have been anxiously awaiting our beloved 'barnies' arrival. I had a feeling I would see them today. It was a still evening wind-wise and the morning was nice and sunny and very calm if not a bit cool. Sure enough walking out to the barn behind the silo and feedlot I hear the tell-tale clicking calls before I saw them. Saw a pair right away soaring above my head chastising me (or maybe saying hello!). Then I saw a third was with them. I always note their arrival dates. They were one day later this year compared to 2020. I saw them again today.
