Really delighted to have this male monarch born today! He is our first indoor-reared monarch this spring. I brought him in as a 5th instar on April 13 and he formed his chrysalis on April 16. He was one of the first 5th instars I saw this spring, so gives a bit of a timeline for the 1st generation from our location.
