Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/29/2021

Number: 1

On Thursday 4/29 I saw a tiny baby Hummer that was so small I couldn't see a red throat(Gorget). It was the smallest I have ever seen. On Friday 4/30 I definitely saw a male Ruby-throated Hummer at my feeder and we know that the Males always show up first to scout out the area before the females arrive and the males have a red gorget the the older they are the more red it will show until the throat is all red. If I can get a pic I will post it for you.
