Guilford, CT: At 3:51 p.m., I saw our first Ruby-throated Hummingbird, male, small, hovering near our feeder, on the east side of our house. It was 65 degrees outside, with 18 mile per hour winds, and cloudy, but soon after, the sun came out. Joyful! Long Island Sound is five miles away.
