Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/02/2021

Number: 1

First Ruby seen this season, a male, and actually was also nectaring from my native honeysuckle which too is blooming beautifully this spring. The male was doing what turns out to be his/their late evening ~at sunset visits. Had two feeders out for nearly 2 weeks and had not seen a thing. Ironically, the honeysuckle sits nearly equidistant from the two feeders! Usually they feed on both. But as soon I I noticed him, he noticed me and buzzed off. So no pic.
