Inadvertant sighting that morning as I was loading up to go fishing, the adult eagle was roosting in my large locust tree that is about 50' tall and has yet to bud for the spring so the tree looked actually more like a large dead tree that I have often notice eagles roosting in. Furthermore, I have regular visits by Coopers Hawks and Red Tail Hawks in that area so I was not expecting him. As soon as I stepped out to my truck doors, he/she took off and that's how I saw it. He's been around before usually cruising the large hill behind me or over the tree lot. Never saw one actually come onto the property before. No pics.
