I have a some milkweed on my backyard. Last year whenever we found eggs on the plants we will bring them inside to our porch screen and then release the adult monarch. Last year we released aprox 50 monarchs.
We didnt stop seeing them even during winter however the larva were small and most of them die. We finally started seem them 2 weeks ago. Right now we have about 5 pupas and 14ish larvae, inside the porch screen. We have been trying to get new Milkweed plants but haven't had any luck:(
