Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/06/2021

Number: 2

Both male and female came for the first sighting today. The female came over to the adjacent kitchen window to make sure someone was home to refill the feeder (or so I imagined). They have been coming ever since we first moved here (6yrs ago). We live on a ten acre property that has an open grassed in area (maybe 2 acres) with large perennial gardens that attract butterflies, including monarchs as well. We don't use any pesticides.
