I saw one Hummer early this afternoon. The light didn't allow me to figure out its sex. It may have been the same one as yesterday, which was a male and the first of the season.
Generally, the earliest birds continue on and the summer regulars arrive within a week.
Prior to the big frost kill off in Belize years ago, we had dozens. It went down to a pair each year until last year when we had 3 or 4 around most of the season.
Will get flowers this week and hope for the best - there's a frost warning for tonight.
